Another of the painting-a-day series of small watercolors. Small watercolor paintings using quick strokes with a writing brush on rough watercolor paper. Signed on front, 10" x 14" image size with 16" x 20" mat, ready to frame.

Open skies, storms coming in, sweeping vistas, mountains and grasslands all call for broad strokes and bold light and shadows. I strive for an economy of color and execution that can bring a landscape to life.
