For centuries artists interpret the subject of the first man and woman. Olena’s vision of Adam and Eve is far from the careless life of the first people in the Garden of Eden. Rather to the contrary, the expressive depiction of the faces and their expressions indicate that by eating the
fruit from the forbidden tree, they have recently received the ability to conjure negative and destructive concepts such as shame and evil.

This monochrome oil painting is very close to the drawing. If you take a closer look (please check some of the additional pictures) you will notice that the faces are literally drawn with the firm side of the brush through the surface layer of light oil paint.

Shipped carefully and safely rolled in a durable tube. Rolled artworks can easily be re-stretched.
