ACT LIKE A LADY refers to how women can be the object of attention. For this reason, they are always examples to follow. I always say, don't be a follower, be a leader. With our example, we can do so much good and so much wrong. So beware, and watch what you do. Act Like A Lady is a beautiful square painting made with oils and collage on high quality linen. Most of the images are collages painted over with oils to bring out the vibrancy of the colors. This piece has deep magenta and turquoise, making the background very complex and texturized. On the bottom right side, I have painted a very realistic magnifying glass to add a touch of irony to the painting. It is a conversation piece indeed.

It is a homage to women and their role in society and the family. They are moms, therapists, beautiful, hard workers, cooks, doctors, and many times without needing a degree. This series is all made with oils and collage that has been painted over to enhance the colors. They are all made on linen to ensure the best quality. All my paintings are originals.
