When the world began “sheltering in” due to COVID, many of us felt isolated and lonely living in a culture of uncertainty. I found refuge in taking strolls through the nearby Dunham Massey and Tatton Park . There was something comforting about looking into the vastness of the sky. A synchronised flock of birds flying against the backdrop of the clouds and sky became the inspiration for this painting.
