Original artwork description:

A semi abstract painting of a view across to Skye. The Cullin mountains make an iconic sight viewed from across the water. The painting tries to capture the changeable weather - a break in the clouds, deep choppy waters, rock and sea spray and the colours of the wild sea thrift and mayweed along the shore.
The painting includes collage and texture and is lively and colourful.
It is painted on a canvas - the edges are left to include the natural drips and splatters that occurred during the making of the piece.
