Original artwork description:

Fields, hills and distant land. Painted 'plein air' in the Welsh Boarders.

Dramatic weather with clouds racing, changing the light that swept across these verdant fields. Standing on a Welsh hillside, overlooking a valley, towards Herefordshire, with England stretching away into the distance, this painting was a challenge! Rain showers (see pic!), lead to a few breaks, but the resulting sweeping landscape painting reflects the lush farmland that rises to steeper hills. A pale blue sky with skudding clouds created a beautiful light and atmosphere.

Painted in professional oil colours inspired by the style of Cezanne.

Oil paint on stretched canvas.

Strung and ready to hang.

Signed on the rear and Certificate of Authenticity provided.
