I used to regularly see these Ju-52s taking passengers on flights across Switzerland. It was an amazing sight, and sound - especially when I saw three in the air at one time, flying together.
This painting is in homage to HB-HOT which crashed in the Alps in 2018 with twenty fatalities. It started with the Swiss Air force in 1939.
The other two have been grounded too now.
This is a high quality oil painting on canvas.
The sides are finished in a neutral grey and it is supplied with eyelets and cord so it is ready to hang straight out of the box.
The painting can be also be framed in a ready-made frame as it is a standard size, or one made-to-measure.
The painting has been varnished for protection and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
