Original artwork description:

This painting is this kind of artwork you have to do as an artist to experiment other ways of coming along with one's art of painting. Sometimes as in this picture : "Acouphènia" it does not get at all where you wanted it to go, it seems to obey to its own logic and the artist feels he is just a witness of what's happening trying more to save the work using the experience he already has as making a strong point. So it makes some kind of bastard art difficult to link to such or such category. The artist then feels he has to let in infuse and then maybe it will get somewhere. I was pleased to be able to see it as a visual representation of Tinnitus which i suffer from in quite a strong manner. Tinnitus is in one's head, invisible, impossible to be translate into an image and yet maybe "Acouphènia" manages that...The model (because there is a model) is some kind of hollow shell picked up on the beach.

Materials used:

Acryl paint, canvas, wooden strecher, light varnish and string.
