Original artwork description:

In this painting I wanted to explore depth and the way it distorts and conceals the human figure. The dark indigo shades convey a sense of sinking, downward movement, whilst the light plays fleetingly at the top of the canvas.

This artwork is painted on a deep-edged, gallery wrapped canvas. The painting continues around the edge of the canvas meaning it may be hung unframed.
