Acrylic painting on wooden OSB board. The painting is unframed and not ready to hang, however it is on hard wooden board so it is possible to put it on a shelf or a cupboard and lean it against the wall, but of course you can have it framed too.
Please note that the colors of the artwork may appear differently depending on individual monitor settings.
In the creation of 'Abstract Sunrise,' I was allowing the painting to essentially 'paint itself.' My intention was to tap into the realm of the unconscious and let the creative process flow naturally. I used acrylic paints, palette knives, and spatulas on a wooden OSB board as my tools of expression.
At the heart of this artwork, you'll discover a striking red circle positioned boldly in the top right corner, symbolizing the rising sun. It signifies the promise of a new day, a fresh start, and an infusion of energy.
All over the painting, you'll find a collection of spontaneous shapes and dots in black, yellow, and brown hues. They emerged organically, without a predefined plan, reflecting the intuitive nature of the creative process. You can observe field lines throughout the artwork; some of them appear to radiate from the sun, subtly connecting it to the surrounding elements. These lines symbolize the energy flowing through the artwork, akin to the threads of inspiration that guided the painting's evolution.
'Abstract Sunrise' encapsulates the essence of embracing the unexpected and allowing the unconscious to guide the artistic journey. It's an exploration of the spontaneous and the unknown, celebrating the energy and life that emerge from within the canvas.
