From a collection of abstract seascapes painted using dramatic Moonglow, a wonderful textured paint that separates into three different pigments on the paper. I really enjoy playing with the flowing and unpredictable nature of watercolour to create moody and beautiful sea and landscapes like these. The lake that inspired these paintings is called El Remate which is the North of Guatemala, it's a simply beautiful and mystical place where you can sit on the jetty looking out at the still water and feel totally alone with the calm of nature.

Painted on Fabriano Artists paper with at least one deckled edge. A beautiful small artwork which look great in a series.
