"Abstract sea" è una rappresentazione astratta del luccichio del mare durante la notte.
Un giorno d'estate, osservando i "riflessi" luminosi di una città di porto sul mare, ho sentito la necessità di fissare nella mente quei piccoli bagliori per fermarli dal continuo moto ondoso.

A momenti la sensazione di "disturbo", del continuo ighiottimento della luce, risultava essere così forte che l'unica soluzione sarebbe stata quella di "fermare il mare".

La vernice striata del dipinto, stesa in maniera disomogenea su un supporto liscio di cartoncino nero, sembra distaccarsi dallo sfondo e simula la cresta di un'onda illuminata da luci di vari colori.

L'effetto luminoso, distaccandosi dal mare, diviene un elemento completamente astratto che, muovendosi come il mare, si sposta nello spazio vuoto.

"Abstract sea" is an abstract representation of the shimmering of the sea at night.
One summer day, while observing the luminous "reflections" of a port town on the sea, I felt the need to fix those small glimmers in my mind to stop them from the continuous wave motion.

At times the feeling of 'disturbance', of the continuous swelling of the light, was so strong that the only solution would be to 'stop the sea'.

The striped paint of the painting, unevenly applied on a smooth black cardboard support, seems to detach itself from the background and simulates the crest of a wave illuminated by lights of various colours.

The luminous effect, detached from the sea, becomes a completely abstract element that, moving like the sea, moves in empty space.
