Acrylic painting on wooden OSB board. The painting is unframed and not ready to hang, however it is on hard wooden board so it is possible to put it on a shelf or a cupboard and lean it against the wall, but of course you can have it framed too.

Creating 'Birdsong' was a profoundly expressive journey for me. I chose an unconventional canvas, a wooden OSB board, as my starting point. I opted for palette knives and spatulas as my tools of choice, enabling me to sculpt and shape the paint in ways that brushes simply couldn't achieve. The result is a heavily textured piece where bold and dynamic visual elements come to life. These elements perfectly mirror the chaotic and energetic mood that I aimed to capture.

My decision to use this unconventional combination of materials and tools reflects my desire to push the boundaries of artistic expression. 'Birdsong' represents a harmonious fusion of my creativity and the natural world, inviting viewers to explore the interplay between artistry and nature.
