399-Abstract Morning.
In this painting I wanted to experience the interplay of dark blue tones, of several hues, with lighter warmer colours. The resulting effect , to me, is of early morning sun filtering though trees. The trees themselves are not yet fully party to the renewing heat of day, but there is clearly hope and brightness promised. There is a perspective evident leaving a puzzle of the slightly obscured background. I like this piece because it led me, I did not have to force or mould it. Although it is colourful, I used a much reduced palette.
This piece is painted in oils on canvas board, particularly suitable for export to countries with restrictive import conditions for wood products.
