This artwork is an abstract painting yet upon further inspection, the image of beautiful rolling hills comes to mind. The marriage of watercolor and black ink creates a very expressive scene, not restricted by traditional concepts of landscape painting. The combination of pink, grey and black creates a unique atmosphere. Despite limited color palette, the repetition and layering create an interesting composition – the viewer always discovers something new. If you are longing for a touch of calming subdued colors, this could be a wonderful painting for your walls.
