A nod to the Pantone colours of the year 2021, with a bluer grey than the "gray" Pantone.
A pure abstraction, which opposes these two strong colours: grey and yellow.
Nervous graphics, sgraffiti, come to scarify the layers of oil paint. Lines and shapes drawn with black stone (blacker and greasier than charcoal), erased in places, leave a smoky streak on the flat areas. An almost symmetry where the artist plays with the idea of reflection, similarity, the vision in negative of an image in positive. Wink also to the photo. Modern forms, a contemporary work from which figuration is banished. The meaning is abstract, conceptual. The work is minimalist.
