Original artwork description:

An original 30 x 40 cm acrylic painting, featuring a female model in a stunning and confident pose, painted using professional artists quality paint onto clear primed stretched canvas.

The human figure is my primary inspiration in drawing and painting, to explore the possibilities of line, shape, colour and form. This piece has been inspired by my interest in how seemingly random blocks of colour and line, can form a relationship of interlocking planes that can merge to create a complex image.

The piece is hand painted in a hard edge style, however the stencil/street art quality of the final piece is a funky and contemporary addition to any art collection and perfect for any home decor project.

From originally attending life drawing classes as an aid to my studies in art, the human figure has since become my abiding passion to explore my creativity in a multitude of media - drawing, painting, collage and even embroidery.
