The artwork has been painted with professional artist's quality acrylic paint onto a flat canvas board and measures 30.5 x 25.5 cm and is ready to frame.

The human figure is my primary inspiration in drawing and painting, to explore the possibilities of line, shape, colour and form.

From originally attending life drawing classes as an aid to my studies in art, the human figure has since become my abiding passion to explore my creativity in a multitude of media - drawing, painting, collage and even embroidery.

This piece is informed by a fascination with the works of figurative artists such as Euan Uglow and the figurative work of Richard Diebenkorn, whilst remaining a modern and contemporary interpretation. The bold and confident pose of the female model deserved to be reflected with a strong line and bright, assertive colours.

The artwork will come signed by me the artist, and be shipped carefully packaged in card board and bubble wrap to ensure its safe transit.
