An evening view in a semi abstract style, very expressive and energetic oil painting on a wooden boxed panel of a beautiful area where Lancashire meets Cumbria meets a gateway to Yorkshire. A place I visit regularly and love to stay over when possibly in Kirkby Lonsdale. Breathtaking views of the River Lune and the Radical Steps that lead to Ruskin’s View are always a delight to revisit and well worth the challenging climb. Luscious greenery, a rocky river bed and a dramatic, powerful river combine to give an outstanding view.
Painted in oils onto a wooden box panel so can be hung as is or framed if preferred, sealed using a gloss varnish to seal and protect the surface.
