About artwork.
This is a minimalist heavily textured abstract painting created with palette knives and non-traditional tools. The artwork is inspired by the Suprematism of the early 20th century. This Geometric abstraction address the inherently two-dimensional nature of the picture plane as well as the canvas functioning as its support. In the composition of the painting, I use different colors to understand how they work together on a bright background.
