Acrylic with watercolrs and ink abstract portrait painting inspired by Russian and Byzantine icons. Expressionistic painting of an ancient angel. The style that characterized Byzantine art was almost entirely concerned with religious expressionism. In this painting I used that style in more modern abstarct manner.
