My work is always somehow inspired by nature.
I'm mostly attracted by the smooth, round shapes taken by the rocks during their long life journey.
This freestanding sculpture is firstly created with Carrara marble powder and a special aliphatic non-yellowishing resin.
Then, it’s sanded, smoothed and polished to give off the look of polished white stone. Finally a coat of microcrystalline wax gives the surface a satin finish.
