Original artwork description:
This painting was painted loosely in a semi-abstract style, using palette knife and brush on deep-edged premium canvas. It depicts the ocean, looking down from above and aims to show the movement of the water and ocean currents. I used a fairly limited palette and, if you look very closely, there are some flecks of gold paint in the foam between the sea and sand. I have continued the painting around the sides of the canvas for full effect. There is soft texture throughout the painting and the shadows created by the contrasts and highlights in the sea foam create an illusion of depth. It lends itself well to modern interiors and will complement most decors.
Two coats of varnish have been applied for added UV protection.
The canvas does not require a frame. A canvas hanger is attached, which allows the painting to sit flush with the wall.
