Original artwork description:

A semi abstract impressionist painting inspired by the mountain scenery of the lake district in England. In this small study I have tried to portray the atmosphere of the dramatic hills and mountains of this popular wild area of the English countryside. With a rough moorland view looking down into the tranquil valley below overlooked by the rugged mountain tops with a touch of snow.
Painted in a loose and expressive textural style with a palette knife in bold red, orange and blue green acrylic paints with a dramatic cloudy sky.

Painted with a palette knife and fingers, using quality artists acrylics on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white hand painted wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
