Throughout our lives we are given reminders of how fleeting time can be. This landscape captures a personal moment of reflection, although I feel we all can relate. My signature gold washed canvas shines through the highly textured painting adding warmth and luminosity.
I attempted to represent the sense of time passing in this piece, like an hourglass. I chose a bit of an unusual color combination as an experiment.
The painting is made of acrylic paint, gel medium, and canvas fabric on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished black edges. It comes ready to hang.

Materials used:

I was using professional grade acrylic colors with premium quality color, pigments that have high resistance to fading. Sides are continuously painted, so there is no need to frame.
