ABC#127 Abstract Rules is a superimposed photograph, printed on canvas (150x100 cm), that tells a personal story through two shots. Every day, I find inspiration in something different; in this case, it was the crazy world of bureaucracy and the experience of living unnaturally, trapped under a maze of rules. These rules often exist only to enforce other rules, in a chain that, even when applied, leads to no concrete results. The only certainty is the need to rewrite the fundamental rules and truly consider the consequences, even when they seem gentler. However, the world knows no gentleness, and I often find myself thinking that love or peace are rare privileges, confined to limited spaces and often achieved at great cost, through unfortunate circumstances. Mediocrity is immediate, while life appears as a complex journey dominated by rules that sometimes limit freedom — a freedom that often makes innocence guiltier than guilt itself.
