This is a mixed media urban sketch of Abbey Foregate in Shrewsbury.
True to the principles of urban sketching, I drew this entirely on location, this beautiful, sunny and warm Easter Saturday morning.
The paper is 8 x 11.5 cm pale grey Winsor & Newton 160 gsm pastel paper. The colours are truest on my screen in first two images which are scans of the drawing, while the other two are photos.
