I find bodies of water in half-light or at night incredibly alluring, tranquil and calming and hope that this entirely imagined landscape can convey those emotions to the viewer. The piece combines aspects of tonalism with semi-abstract elements and a relatively bold palette to create a harmonised whole.

The piece is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness on a medium grain fully-archival canvas panel by Winsor and Newton measuring 20 cm by 20 cm, which will fit many off-the-shelf frames.

The painting will be packaged following best-practice guidelines and despatched by signed for and fully tracked courier. It is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

All paintings are unframed unless otherwise stated.

I endeavour to estimate shipping charges as accurately as possible. In the event of overcharging, I will refund the difference through Artfinder, and will bear the cost of any undercharging myself.

Outside of the UK and America there may be local duty / tax. If so, this is payable by the collector prior to delivery - the postal service/courier for your country will request payment if any is due. VAT on art imports is usually at a reduced rate compared with general VAT ratings.
