I love looking at ancient buildings. I am fascinated by the texture of peeling plaster, porous weathered stones and cracked paint. In this old building, it was this piece that attracted me. It is my favourite turquoise colour and the window with white wooden shutters. It's stunning. And not only did I paint it with acrylics, but I also applied a texture paste. It brought out what I saw in nature and what I wanted to convey on paper. By the way, the paper is exceptional for painting with acrylics.
