Original artwork description:

Portrayal of many exquisite ocean anemones have always been inspiring!
This artwork has a heavy relief texture inspired by the beautiful coral reefs underater. All the textural elements are individually handcut, carved and modelled using upcycled plastics and assembled on a canvas.
Coral reefs are the largest living structures, which are are now facing the biggest threat due to global warming and climate change. And is giving out their call for survival. The corals are in endosymbiotic relationship with the algae which supply energy for them. But these algae is being killed by the temperature raise in ocean water.
I started doing upcycled artworks since 3 years, after a pledge to work for a greener planet. All the plastic bottles with different textures are upcycled to get unique textures on my artworks. I decided to work with oceanlife theme, since they are most affected due to plastic pollution. In each of my works, the texture is individually cut and painted from discarded plastic bottles. Its my way of saving our planet. So buying one of my original works from this series, you are not only supporting art but also supporting a good cause.
The artwork is done on canvas and the texture which is 100% made from upcycled discarded plastic, is assembled on to it. The art will come ready to hang. It will be signed on front and back. Certificate of authenticity will be attached.

Materials used:

repurposed plastics, solvent based paints, acrylics,
