One of my new paintings, done at my recent residency at the Baltic Sea, where we had a lot of changing lights, dramatic skies and wind...

This abstract painting shows approx. 50 thin mixed media layers, giving it a dramatic and intense atmosphere. The colors are handmixed and some added silver pigments in the white add some extra sparkle when hit by direct light, just like you can have it at the sea. You will see a lot of markmaking and details to discover in this painting.

50x50 cm unframed, 54x54x2 cm framed, handmixed gouache, eggtempera, acrylics, pastels and some silver pigments on gallery wrapped canvas, sides partly painted. Signed on the back and Certificate of Authenticity. White wooden box frame.
