This Acrylic Painting on 300gsm Paper was started “en plein air“ from our hotel balcony on a bright and sunny late afternoon after we had returned from walking by the lake. The weather was beautiful and Great Swaysur Mountain was bathed in a warm orange glow as the sun lowered in the sky. It was the first time we could see the actual shape of the slopes on the mountainsides without them being completely covered in mist! I took the chance to paint it in this light and added to it on a few other afternoons during the trip. You can see the reflections of a few fishing platforms moored at the foot of the mountain. During the last painting session a beautiful late afternoon mist was creeping across the higher slopes of the mountains and I added it into the scene as I thought it was a great chance to catch this unique scene.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
