Original artwork description:

The painting belongs to „Foremothers” series exploring images of anonymous ancestressess’ from my collection of vintage photographs. I aim to create visual female narratives, from the perspective both the artist and the subject.

The painting is done with professional quality oils on Arches oil paper, therefore is of an archival quality. I recommend tray framing after previously cutting alongside the image (a standard service at any framers). However if preferred, it can be mounted and framed as any drawing or a print would (that’s why I am leaving a paper band around the image).

Materials used:

Oil
