Ah; the sights and sounds of the French Riviera! This painting has been a long time in coming... The setting is loosely based on my hometown of Menton, France, But is a nod really,to many colorful, charming spots along the Cote D’azur, and Northern Italy, which Menton borders. Now that I finally got around to depicting this vivacious scene with a Vespa, I am inclined to create a series! This canvas is painted around the edges so it can be hung, unframed...
