I have always loved tropical birds and loved to visit the aviary at London zoo when I was a child. This fun painting is based on all those trips to the zoo to see the parrots and other brightly coloured birds. It also combines my love of painting plants, in particular the wonderful shapes and colours of the leaves.

I always love to tell a story in my paintings and also creating fun characters to star in each piece too! So I really enjoyed creating the three people in this painting.

Painted on acrylic board in acrylics and varnished for protection.

Fraamed in a white, wooden floating frame.

Signed on the front.

Ready to hang.
