Original artwork description:

A view downhill in the stunningly quaint hillside town of Monemvasia in the Peloponnese, Greece. This is a stunningly beautiful town in you have never been! Lots of ochres and violet tones have been used to create the effect of the parched vegetation and heat!

Watercolour is one of my favourite mediums as you can achieve beautiful layers of translucent colour, and create some wonderful impressionisitic works. This was painted during 5 months of travel by campervan around europe with my family.

Materials used:

paper, watercolour paint
