« Art is not to represent new things, but to represent them with novelty » Slasky is an established Italian artist whose works have been exhibited in solo and collective exhibitions internationally; including the prestigious Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.

The artist has the ability to blend classical works of art with contemporary digital art techniques. With its neo-urban classic style, it combines tradition and modernity, bringing the protagonists of original works of art into contemporary social and artistic environments. "The Neo Urban Classic Collection is a selection of pieces in which I have fused works of classical art with contemporary digital art techniques, in order to carry the art that I believe is incredibly important in our present time. By inserting the protagonists of the original works of art in contemporary social and artistic environments, I have created a series of pieces that send new messages and require a level of collaboration on the part of the viewer to be understood " Slasky's work is a fusion of urban influences and classical contemporary pop art in which it represents the icons of this century and those that make the moments of the story meaningful. The style is very personal thanks to some of the most recognizable images in the world. The works have an immediate sense of familiarity, but presented with an injection, sometimes explosion of color and life that absorbs them with richness and modernity. The details are pushed front and center in its canvases, using contrasting color techniques, textured backgrounds and silkscreen prints to create the same subject in various shapes, separating them from their traditional backdrops.
