Sculpture representing a face made of metal lace (steel) and wood.
Part of the face is enveloped in metal lace, created by a unique ‘dripping’ process that causes the steel to flow in fine drops, forming a delicate and complex network. This technique gives the sculpture a texture that is both fragile and robust.
The other part of the face is carved from wood, revealing a more traditional, organic expression.
The contrast between the hardness of the metal and the warmth of the wood creates a sustained visual tension.
