Wandering around Florence, I took a picture of a side street during the heat of the day. I painted it much later and then again more recently. I was intrigued as to how all the shapes had arranged themselves. I could understand how cubism had evolved. I don't say that I could have developed cubism. I'm not clever enough. I just could understand how it happened
