This mixed media painting has been submitted as part of the Liquitex / Artfinder muted collection.
I love to walk everyday whatever the weather but I especially love walking on a chilly Autumn day. This painting was created after my walk on one such day when the sky was cloudy and grey and the air smelled of woodsmoke. Inkeeping with the theme of the collection I have used a palette of subtle greys and ochres to depict the stillness of the day and the fallen leaves crunching beneath my feet as I walked.
It has been created on a Pebeo 100% linen canvas and comes with painted white sides. It has been signed on the side and fitted with chord so is all ready to hang. The artwork has been sealed with a matt acrylic varnish.
