A Stiff Breeze -Lyme Bay was painted during a recent workshop in West bay, Dorset a section of the Jurassic coast with golden sandstone cliffs. The weather was exhilarating very windy with wild skies. A Stiff Breeze was inspired by a very windy morning when it was blowing about a 6 on the Beaufort scale blowing spume up onto the beach. Painted on canvas using spontaneous brush marks on a Burnt Sienna ground the painting is presented ready for framing, signed in pencil bottom right, titled signed and dated on the reverse. Shipped carefully packed in a box, enclosed with an artist's certificate. dispatched with a track and trace identity.
