Original artwork description:

The new leaves and blossom that herald every spring make me joyful with the idea of seasons to come. I've tried to splash a little bit of that joy onto this painting.

I started with some textural medium to give substance to the trunks and branches, then 'threw' the paint in many layers to give an almost pointlillist effect to the fresh foliage and meadow grasses.

This is acrylic and textural medium on board, deep edged, varnished, sides painted white, strung on the back and ready to hang.

Measurements are 59cm x 19.5cm x 3.5cm.

I've signed the back and it will come with a signed certificate of authenticity but please let me know if you'd like it signed on the front, too.
