This abstract piece, inspired by plant forms from Kew Gardens, has been a slow work in progress.
My first block was carved a few years ago and resurrected and re-worked, I’ve also added another block as a way to accentuate the layers of colour and shapes giving the piece extra depth and texture. What I hope to impart are the wonderful forms you see in nature some growing inside the Palm House and some outside its glass walls.
This is the first in what will be a limited edition of no more than 30 prints. Please be aware that it will be a variable edition so colours will differ one from the other.
You may also find faint smudges and creases on the margins of the work, these can be hidden when framing.
