Original artwork description:
Inspired by the Assumption Cathedral - the oldest Orthodox church in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Its history began in 1771. During this time, it underwent many different tests: it was built with the funds of local residents and clergy, in Soviet times, radio station equipment was placed in the premises, during the installation of which unique frescoes were destroyed, during the Second World War, the temple did not suffer significant damage. To date, he has suffered but persevered. Now it is one of the symbols of the indomitability of the city. The sketch was created from my memories and with the help of photos of friends who remain in the city today.
The artwork is on 100 % cotton archival quality 300 g/ m² watercolour paper, using the world`s finest watercolour paints.
Displayed image size of the painting may vary from the actual size. The sketch has an interesting relief contour, which, in my opinion, looks interesting in the design.
