Framed oil painting showing the play of light, colours and atmosphere of a Scottish Field. The view is taken from my travels into the Highlands. I find it fascinating how the light can break through the clouds and highlight the earth below in such an intense concentration of colour. Scotland is known for it's atmospheric skies and dramatic landscapes and I am constantly finding inspiration surrounding me.

The artwork is painted on a 3mm MDF panel that has been sealed and primed for oils. It has been framed onto a white panel to create a broad relief and then finished off with a black frame. The artwork image itself is 9.5cm x 5.5cm (3.74 x 2.16 inches). The frame is 3.8cm wide by 2.8 cm deep.
