Original artwork description:

I was invited to paint at a collectors' home recently. Their house was situated on a gorgeous private cove. I was there to paint a "portrait" of their house, which was also lovely. But the cove, was compelling, bewitching. I painted a small plein-aire study of the cove (and later their house) while I was there. I was so lucky to be there as the tide was reaching its peak. I could hardly wait to get home to paint a larger version! Yet, it took me several layers of paint to get the full expression of the place, the sense of light and privacy.

This is painted on a gallery wrapped canvas, and the edges are also painted. There is a wire on the back, so it is ready to hang in your home!
