This is a little oil painting of the beautiful Portheras Cove in Cornwall on a sunny day last summer. It provided a welcome break from our walk from Zennor to Pendeen. The sea was a deep blue with the sand providing a wonderful contrast.
What an amazing place. I recommend a visit if you haven't been. I worked quite quickly on this painting trying to create the atmosphere rather than the detail.
