„A night of unbaptized days“II was created for the BALKAN QUADRINAL OF PAINTING "THE MYTHS AND LEGEND OF MY PEOPLE" - STARA ZAGORA'2020 It is inspired by Bulgarian folklore, in particular by the mystique of the night.

"According to the traditional worldview, time has a heterogeneous character. Night is the universal part of the day, which people define as demonic. Seasons are also associated with certain demonic beings. The appearance of dragons and fairies belongs to the spring-summer cycle. Another period of the year, "burdened" with demonic presence, is the transition from the old to the new calendar year. According to the traditional beliefs of the Bulgarians, from Christmas to Jordan's Day are the so-called dirty (unbaptized, pagan) days. During these days, the cosmic order is disturbed, chaos ensues, and the border between the two worlds is permeable, as evil forces invade the earth."
