Original artwork description:

This small semi-abstract artwork on a 15.5 x 10.5 inch piece of discarded Sailboat Sail canvas. It is entitled, "A New York Minute". It depicts a night scene of New York City. Every time I paint New York I think of the song by Don Henley.... hence the title.

A NOTE about this artwork. As you can see these sections of sailboat sail canvas are very rustic. They are unraveled on the edges and some slightly wrinkled... like a piece of a sail found on the beach. They are also seldom perfectly square due to the characteristic of its flexibility and the ability to stretch with the wind. For me this just adds to the essence that this is indeed a piece of sailboat sail canvas... perhaps from a lost ship at sea! Let your imagination soar with this one! These small artworks can easily be hung with tacks or two sided tape These artworks are for the special GREEN-minded people who are like me in that they hate to discard things that can be repurposed. Especially into works of Art.
