Original artwork description:

This painting was inspired by an amazing sunrise across The Solent on the south coast towards the Isle Of Wight. I had got up early to see the sunrise across the sea to capture the expressive colours of the light especially as they bounced off the clouds. This is my interpretation of the expressive qualities of the colour that the sunrise created.

With pencils in hand I made a few quick sketches and notes.

On returning to the studio I worked on the composition and started to produce the final artwork. It certainly lifts one's mood to see the beauty of light in nature.

A New Day Arrives is a framed (white grained wood)original oil painting created and painted by myself. The back of the artwork is signed and you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity.
